Günther Pregartner, founder of the company, started his academic training 2006 with studying information technologies and business informatics at the University of Applied Sciences CAMPUS 02 in Graz. Afterwards he qualified himself for the international title “Certified Management Consultant” and passed his second master degree programme in IT-management and applied security.
As part-time lecturer at CAMPUS 02 he regularly acts as a supervisor of master thesis projects and commercial projects with the industry in the area of smart services. He started his own business rather early. Thus he was not even 20 years old when he established in 2001 his own company named GUEP Software in 2001.
Up to now the company follows the approach of “healthy and independent expansion” and provides 20 highly skilled employees, mainly in the fields of software engineering. GUEP Software acts from two European branch offices and works through IT-services and software-products in the international scope.
GUEP promotes close client contact, which represents a crucial concept for success. Whereas many of our projects generate specific software solutions we realise a couple of projects directly at the site of the customers or at least in close collaboration. The big benefit for the customers is thereby the short latency time in communication. Merchandising and product leading thought are held up in consultation with the customer. International contacts are an essentially base and enable the development of know-how in project leadership and global active marketing measures of products.
